12/20/07 - InterSkillMedia has just announced a new safety video for kids entitled, “The Ultimate Video Guide for… Kids How To Stay Safe”. This video was created to help kids stay safe. With the help of cartoon animation, Kids…How To Stay Safe teaches kids what is important without having to hear it from an adult. That’s right, the entire video and it’s important information is delivered only by kids. It includes how to deal with a bully, saying no to drugs, how to stay safe when you’re home alone, how to recognize danger in the neighborhood, staying safe at school, what you should do when approached by a stranger and many more safety tips to help kids stay safe. Remember, the world has changed. Even for kids.

There are so many safety challenges in our schools/communities today particularly bullying and internet safety. This video would give teachers/parents a tool to promote and teach safety to children during a critical time and in such a changing world that we live in. I really think schools would welcome this valuable resource.

There is a definite need for this video. Many students don’t have the skills to keep themselves safe, despite the fact they think they do. As with all youngsters, gettting the specifics from a peer has a far greater impact than the “harping” of adults.
