tqvm. If a service was not started, right-click it, click Properties and then confirm that the Startup type is Automatic. Without faulty path we can't find out the main cause of this issue. In Device Manager it shows the printer but it is not default, and context menu shows only the troubleshooting option, wich doesn't work.
Had broken printer service and this totally worked! It is enough to inspire us to do something more better. I ran the scan through command prompt and the results came back saying windows could not fix all errors. I hit Repair, it says fixed it shows the printer is repairs but then instantly it is NOT.
The Stop and Start buttons are located in the Print Spooler Properties window you just opened, on the General tab. Please let us know if doesn't work. Now go through the list and start each service upon which Print Spooler is dependent( if the service is not already started). In the past I would run Services to RESTART PRINT SPOOLER which would release the print job.
I've watched like 10 YouTube videos, and this fixed everything in a matter of seconds. Answered! Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS and open this file. I have tried a few USB ports that work with other devices.
